It worked fine until it reached Exactly 10 years old To The Week! e took delivery. On that day, the water heater stopped working.
We were impressed with how quietly it ran, the versatile loading capacity, The choices of cycles to use and that it has a good energy rating.
Not impressed it lasted only 10 years.

Love the color. We bought a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. The dishwasher was good, it has lasted several years and I am buying a new heating element for it. Hopefully that helps.It does however take longer than we had hoped to wash and dry dishes.

Had this dishwasher for six years now. Has ran every day sometimes twice a day. Does an excellent job cleaning dishes. No complaints there. I have spent about two hundred dollars in parts and repair which is below average for normal wear and tear if you ask me. Great quality, racks and internal parts still work like new.

I had this dishwasher 7 years. It started leaking at 1 year and 3 days. GE wouldn't do anything about it since it was 3 days past the warranty. So I had to put pans under the front door every time I ran it. It worked great for a while besides the top rack rusting so bad within 2 years. I ordered a new rack since it was cheaper than a new unit. Then it worked ok until one day it wouldn't drain. Since this one leaked anyways, I purchased the 650 model and it literally worked for 1 hour, only 1 hour! Ran the 1 hour cycle as a test run. After that, it beeped 3 times and died and never turned on again. It had been installed for literally for that 1 hour cycle. Never owned a dishwasher for less than 1 day. Thankfully it was picked up but now I have to buy another unit and wait yet again. Honestly if people want to go green, these manufacturers need to make a quality product. 2 dishwashers from the same house headed to the dump within 1 day. Come on GE, do better. Have some pride and integrity for crying out loud! Make a product that people can't wait to own and be happy with for decades. There's your "go green" solution!! Do. Better. GE. We all know you can since you used to be a great company.

We replaced the product as the sub-pump and the heating element both failed. At first the sub-pump has a leak and went through the floor to the basement. The rubber hose was so thin I am amazed the QA group let it pass testing. We replaced the entire dishwasher about a year ago with a different more reliable brand. GE product line has gone down and I believe for the most part it is all made in China.

There's no short cycle to rinse the dishes. Either wash them or leave them. Bad design right there doesn't get the soap off. I've tried more than eight brands of dishwasher detergent doesn't matter fill up my water glass and there's residue

Silver colored trim along the top edge is constructed of plastic that breaks very easily. Have glued the trim back in place multiple times with several breaks. According to GE appliance parts can™™t order just the trim; have to order new control module!! Very frustrating.

I was very excited when we bought this dishwasher to finally have a dishwasher with stainless steel interior and loved the exterior color. Unfortunately this dishwasher has been horrible. It doesn't hold many dishes, doesn't clean very well, the motor had to be replaced at year 5, and now we need to replace the soap dispenser on year 6.

I™™m 66 years old and have had lots of dishwashers. This one has been a thorn in my side since day one. It™™s five years old now and still leaks I have to keep plate underneath. The steam from it has ruined my counters. The stupid thing is harder than heck to clean. It builds up multitudes of garbage. I would not buy another GE product

This GE washer is phenomenal! It cleans and dryes the dishes completely.
I love the steam cycle at gets stuck on from off with no problem. The controls are very easy to use. Installing the unit it is self explanatory for the DIY-er. I recommend using fresh water hoses and get some electric grease as an added protection from water or condensation getting in the electrical box.
The only issue I had I'd the loser adjustable are clamps are easy to break and the wheels fall of f the track and becomes disassembled occasionally.

We bought this dish washer along with a matching refrigerator and microwave back in October 2016. We went two years without issues and then all of a sudden it started failing constantly. We™™ve had a repair company out 4 times since 2018 and now it finally crapped out. What happened to making products that last? I think we need to stop outsourcing parts to overseas and start building products that last again here in the USA!!

Machine leaked water during run cycles and caused the fake stainless steel finish on door to rust. Door latch also easily broke. After replacing door latch and a faulty door gasket it stopped leaking.

Five years old, will not dry dishes. Worked flawlessly until now. Factory service comes out and services said there is nothing wrong, it's fine... Used settings recommend by service person and it leaves my dishes wet every time. But he said the heater works fine.

Bought one 5 years ago and have spent close to $1000 on repairs over 5 different incidents. The parts in this dishwasher are not sufficient and you will spend more time fixing this dishwasher than washing your dishes by hand. Save your money.

This dishwasher should really have a quick rinse cycle. Also, we often have dirty dishes. We loaded correctly, have tried different detergent and have checked our water hardness. It is quite. I can™™t say I would buy this model again but for now, 4 years in, I have to live with it.

A dishwasher only has one job, which is to wash dishes. Sadly, this dishwasher cannot even achieve that basic requirement. I'm excited to announce, however, that it's both out of warranty AND there are no technicians in our area, so we're pretty much dead in the water. Thanks, GE, for making such a poor-quality appliance and for choosing not to stand behind your products. Your commitment to obsolescence and waste is exemplary.

Had this product a little less than 5 years and has already quit working. Tub fills then drains automatically, arms do not spin. I wanted a different brand but already have other GE slate appliances so got the Adora. Hopefully that one will last at least 10 years

If the washer is not level front and side, it won't wash properly. There is a diverter ball that shuts off flow to either the upper or lower wash arms. I had my unit sloped back, and the upper washer arms would not spray. Otherwise nice unit and options. Could be quiter.

Cleans dishes great when it works. First service call at 2 years old. Electronic issue. Second at 3 years old. Thin rubber connector tore and flooded the kitchen of our new home. Now at under 4 years old the heating element is out service calls so far are more expensive than the dishwasher. To replace it I will have to buy GE to match the rest of our appliances which are all the same unique finish. That was a bad mistake on our part

It's a nice-looking unit, but that's about it. I'm now about to buy on our third heating element (dishwasher is under 4 years old), and if you read the reviews on that part, it's clearly a common complaint. There's no food grinder, so dishes that have not been thoroughly rinsed result in build-up and a stench unless you clean the filters often. Go for another brand.

My old one was very quiet but this one makes almost no noise at all. It has a very large capacity, great features for holding various items and the first load I ran through it came out absolutely spotless! I'm very happy with this appliance. My youngest son actually installed it and having never installed one before he did not realize that the hoses, etc were inside the dishwasher, so we ended up running out to buy new ones. Might be a good idea put put a sticker on the face of the door indicating that installation parts are enclosed!

Bad product if your circulation pump goes check the date on it mine was manufactured in 1999 so they used old leftover pumps in 2016 appliance sure didnt pass those cost cuts to the consumer and its a brushed motor you can get a $300 dw with a brushless motor that will run forever
