Best thing about it is "real capacity", which is a ridiculous feature but necessary to list, because EVERYTHING in our world is a LIE now. Next best thing is how well its insulated. I have two water heaters in a small utility room in the basement alongside the water entrances and metering. This space used to be extremely humid all the time. Now I can hug the water tank and there is no hint that the water inside is heated to 125+, and no excess humidity in the room. Next: it was delivered direct to my work site and was easy to install. Last: Its very handsome. The price has held pretty steady through these turbulent times and I have to say the product is worth it. Unfortunately my pocketbook is not holding so well, and so if I have to buy another any time soon I may not be able to swing this, though it would be my first pick. Fingers crossed for the USA.

Very poor accuracy and temperature stability. I set the upper and lower thermostats at 125 degrees F and the water temperature ranges from 105 degrees to 120 degrees as measured with 2 digital thermometers. I cannot depend on getting a nice warm shower because of this. Very disappointed as my previous unit was a Kenmore and the temperature was always accurate and consistent for the 17 years I owned it. I chose this GE water heater because I thought it would be high quality but it apparently is not.
