This is by far the best dryer I have ever owned! Purchased in 2013 and still runs like it is brand new. ð™ The extra large drum capacity is great for fitting my queen size comforter set + 2 king size blankets & room to spare. Quiet with minimal noise, energy efficient and the ease of controls to make my life easier. Did I mention the best part of this dryer is the steam technology!? I have a habit of forgetting the clothes for hours after they've dried and well, we all know how wrinkled they become. The steam dewrinkle for full loads saves me from having to get that iron out! And the steam refresh....why have an iron at all? ð

The electrical components caught on fire after 3 years of use and it had to be replaced. This was not due to lint as I vacuum and clean the lint trap and surrounding areas after every use and just had the dryer vent professionally cleaned a few months ago as I do every year. Im always home when I run the dryer and um glad I was because I wouldn™™t have a house or pups any longer. The smoke and smell of electral parts burning is very strong. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I also have a GE microwave oven and conventional oven combo that died after 2 years. I™™m done with GE products buyers beware!!!

We had an issue with our washer and requested service visit knowing that it would cost $118.95 for making the trip. Apparently we had a sock blocking drainage, so the tech charged us an additional $94.13 for pulling out the sock. I am a little flabbergasted for this way of servicing and charging "labor" for pulling out a sock out of the washer.

This dryer worked great until it suddenly stopped working - no power to the unit at all. Checked everything told need to have a service call. Whats worse - the matching washer no longer completes cycles, which appears to be a known problem. In order to wash clothes I have to do a work around (wait, unplug, put in spin mode, cross fingers to see if runs). Unacceptable quality for $2,000 plus units. Will NEVER buy another GE product again - it's too expensive. And guess what - just had to replace my GE microwave that broke and my GE Profile dishwasher all of a sudden started leaking. All of the appliances are only 4 years old!

Let me start by saying I have a GE Dyer. The dyer for several month has been making loud knocking sounds, every time you use it. The service man came out, said the Drum is cracked. Its over warranty, of course. My fault I didn't call soon enough. It used by two people, nothing heavy ever gets in that dyer. How does a Drum crack. Talked to Customer Service, she wouldn't even help us. To fix this its almost $500. This unit is only 2 yrs old. I've had dyers that lasted over 15 yrs, with no replacement parts. I wouldn't own a GE appliance ever.

I bought the set as a replacement of our old top load GE harmony set, This was the first front load and so far we love it, we have only used it for a couple of months, Time will tell and bet if it doesn't perform well, I will be spreading the word.

I bought this dryer and coordinating washer about a month ago and love it. Its built in risers brought the height up without me having to purchase a separate piece of equipment. It dries very quickly and efficiently without overbaking my laundry. My only minor complaint is that the door tends to close on itself when I open it. I am sure it is just a bolt that needs tightening, but that didn't warrant the loss of any stars. Overall I am extrememly pleased with this dryer.

Because of the large tub the clothes have room to really fluff and come out so nice. Dries much quicker than my old dryer and sheets do not get all tangled up.

I recently bought this product in slate so it did not show finger prints, and I am in LOVE with it! Only down fall is when you are standing right up to it, it is hard to see the time on the machine. Great price for the product. Very Satisfied!

I bought this to replace a 10 year old GE Adora dryer and have been pleased with the purchase. I enjoy the large capacity and the multiple features on the machine. I am still getting used to the detangle feature with towels and larger items. Overall, very pleased with the dryer.
