Being right handed and primary user, I'd prefer the biggest burner on the far front right with the 2nd 'smallest' or smallest behind it. Would also like to see an 'option' something in the line of a 'porcelain clad cover' to cover the center section/burner OR cover the griddle for spoons, ladles, spatulas, pan covers etc...instead of having to use the griddle surface for that purpose. Would make it incredibly easier to clean with a swipe of the dish rag. Also, the TIMER needs to BEEP more than ONE TIME and could be LOUDER. I burned the food the first time I used the oven because I didn't hear the timer beep while I was busy cooking other food ON THE STOVE right in front of the timer! It's useless for alerting anyone but the dog. The oven 'drawer'....nice, deep, very useful...but needs a handle of sorts to pull it open. I have difficulty getting my fingers in under the OVEN door to reach the small indent in the TOP MOST EDGE of the drawer to get it open. Dumb design, if the oven's running when trying to get it open, you burn the top of your fingers on the oven door. Put a recessed pull on the FRONT of it. I only bought this model because it had a DRAWER and NOT a broiler that far down near the floor. Those GE models with the broiler unit so far down on the floor are impractical and dangerous for accidental burns, very hot grease spills onto feet and floor, and small children playing around near a very hot oven door that's inconvenient for the cook and is a major fascination for small kids in the kitchen. The broiler should be in the top oven for overall safety AND convenience.

I'm no Betty Crocker but I love my new stove ! Used the griddle to warm tortillas for burritos. The oven is great. The stove top grates are perfect as my pots and pans don't wabble on them. My old stove smelled of gas every time I turned the oven on and we didn't feel safe. We baked pizza the other night on the racks and it was perfect ! Watch out Betty Crocker, here I come :) But I'm having a problem with a nickname, entered 6 times to no avail !!

The oven rack is too small, with no curve up on the back to prevent the roaster from sliding off when pulling the rack out to remove the roaster. This is a safety concern as the roasted can slide off and any grease in the roasted can spill on the burner and cause a fire. SAFETY

We just got the stove/range a few days ago. I haven't used the broiler yet, but the crisper mode has worked well so far. The oven seems to run a little hot so I am going to need to get a thermometer until I can get used to it. I am guessing that you can't have the oven on bake mode with crisp mode or broiler with crisp--I'll have to look up the specific information on all of that. I don't like that I have to go online to see a manual, but I guess trees are saved that way. Overall I like the stove-the look is elegant and it works well so far.

Out of all the ranges on the market this one fit my needs best. I just wanted a simple range with a good oven for baking - no bluetooth, airfryer, etc. It is an adequate range but I would configure the stove top differently. Having the largest burner in front of the smallest burner is inconvenient. I would put the two medium burners in the front positions and the largest and smallest in the back positions. I am having issues with the oven running hot and have burned my holiday treats several times. I purchased an oven thermometer to help me regulate the heat while baking. I will be reaching out to GE to see if the oven can be recalibrated so I don't continue having these issues. I'm not happy that the "broiler" is an electric coil in the oven. Unfortunately, this is common in the newer ranges unless you want your broiler near the floor. I decided I would use the storage drawer more that a broiler.

Upgraded from our old 30 year old stove

I give a five star rating based upon our early purchase of the stove. I saved $150 by picking it up and installing it myself. I did have to convert it from natural gas to LP. It was a little involved, but not hard - there are YOUTUBE videos that will help you through the process step-by-step. At 69 years old, I was able to do it, it did require taking off the oven door and removing the bottom of the oven (again, step-by-step on YOUTUBE). The conversion went well, but my old stove was a 1/2" valve and the connection for the new stove was 3/4". So, I had to make a trip to the store to make it match, was no biggie, just another little hiccup. After getting it all hooked up - everything works well. We have the normal grates and the center griddle (for an additional $75.00). The griddle is nice to make toast, grilled sandwiches, etc. It's still a new feature we have to get use to, we've never had such before. We had our old stove for 30 years. The oven igniter went back on it and I had previously replaced it many years ago. Instead of fixing it, I decided it was time to upgrade. I'm really use to turning the oven on with the center knob, along with the other burners. This new stove does not have a knob to turn the oven on. The new knob controls the center burner instead, so this is taking time to get use to. The oven is operated by the top display panel. I like when you turn it on that it shows you the internal temperature of the oven as it heats us and then gives a quick "beep" when it reaches pre-heat temperature. Baking in it has been different from the old stove, but I expected that. I'm still getting use to "where to put things when baking" so I don't over or under bake things. We haven't really had it long enough to give an experience with the "crisp" mode. We still have a lot to learn concerning this stove compared to the old one because it's a bit more complex with the many features it has. So far, we really like our stove. My concerns? The electronics that regulate the oven. I forsee a time when the heat, wear and tear, etc., will break down the electronics and keep the unit from working. We'll see how long that takes, maybe not in my lifetime? We will see. I like the oven light. It automatically comes on when you open the oven door and goes out when shut. You also have an oven button feature that keeps it on while baking if you want. We have waterless/greaseless pans we've used for years. I've noticed with this stove that the handles get "hot" to touch on this stove, as it didn't on our old one. That's on top of the stove, the pans are also "oven safe" so it's just another adjustment to get use to. It doesn't affect the use of the stove or cookware. Our old oven heated from the bottom only. This oven, with the "crisp" function, also has heat that comes from an element on the topside of the oven. It's a different baking experience for us and once we get experience on using it, I know I'm going to love it. BUT, it is another element that can/will eventually go bad. Everything does that in time, including our bodies - lol. There are a lot of different stoves on the market today! We spent several days/hours comparing them all and deciding on what we wanted. We looked at a stove with the middle burner that has hinges on it, to life and clean under. We are glad we didn't choose that one, because of the spacing of our stove and the exhaust fan above, etc. Our grates are cast iron. Again, at this point, we've only been using it for about a month. But, no rust after cleaning. We have not used the self-cleaning function of the oven yet, because it's so new. Maybe I will be reminded to make another review after a couple of years. The oven fit within the space that replaced the old stove. We have a doublewide home. So, consider the measurements that it will fit inside your space and make sure to include the height. I have no complaints regarding anything on our purchase, at this time, I would buy it again. I hope this review helps you in any decision making you may be experiencing. There's a lot of stoves out there! It comes down to personal choices for what you are wanting. We are satisfied with our choice for what we wanted on our new stove.

I enjoy everything about this stove. The cast iron grates are wonderful, even small pans can rest comfortably on them. I like that the knobs have to be pressed to turn on. Many times on my old stove I accidentally turned the burners on simply by leaning over. I've only used the oven once so far since doing the initial burn off of chemicals but it worked fine. My only complaint is the storage drawer feels flimsy, I have the stainless steel stove and it has a nice appearance. I'm very happy with it.

Nice, but seems a little cheap.

The stove feels a little cheap. The knobs are very light weight and makes me feel like they will dent or break if anything hits them. The very bottom does not have much space to store anything. I don't really like that there is a red message on the screen that says "countertop on" when the stove is turned on. It makes me think something is wrong when I look that way. I do like the stove top and oven space.

I absolutely love this stove! I love the configuratin of multiple sizes of burners for different pot sizes including a griddle. The oven heats quickly. Not bells and whistles that I wouldn't use. Tge controls are very intuitive and front controls are safety featured. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Larger and better stove and oven

Replacing a 25 year old still working gas stove. This is a nice improvement over the old one. Burners are so much better- especially largest burner significantly faster to get large pots boiling. Oven heats evenly. Haven™€™t cleaned using steam yet. Dials easy to clean. Storage drawer hard to open. Even though there™€™s a finger dent on the top edge, I have to lift it from the bottom to pull open. May loosen over time. I just hope it™€™s lasts longer than 5 years.

The skillet is very poor quality- coating already flaking off after two weeks- opt for the 5th burner accessory and toss the skillet it is trash!

Very nice looking stove. The description said the middle grate was not cast iron and it is. Not pleased with that as everything sticks to it and it is hard to clean. Also the bottom drawer, I wish had a handle on it to open and close so you don™€™t constantly get fingerprints all over the drawer. The knobs for turning on the burners are only plastic I hope they hold up, time will tell. So far, I™€™ve only had the stove for a week, but I do like how it cooks and how easy it is to use. Very high end looking stove.

Seems silly to get excited about an oven, but I Love it! The griddle was a huge selling point for making eggs, pancakes, grilled cheese etc.It™€™s also made of cast iron. That was a bonus. It looks great, is simple, heats up fast. I haven™€™t cooked in it yet, but I™€™m looking forward to the crisp feature.
