Dryer dries clothes periodically. Very noisy. Repair person said he needed to order something to fix the noise. Washer very noisy, repair person said he needs to order a New transmission™¦ it™™s been 2 weeks. I called the place I purchased the set from and left a message 2 days ago, no response. I™™d love to have my money back and purchase elsewhere and/or different brand. Not impressed with GE yet.

Numerous settings so you can choose the right one for your garments. Dries quickly. I like the wrinkle guard setting, but I can™™t usually hear the tone when it has finished. Tried increasing the sound, but not sure it worked.

Absolutely love the dryer! While I didn™™t get the matching washer because I had one that already worked well. This dryer is not loud, doesn™™t shake or rattle, has so many drying settings, and the glass door on the front I get so many compliments on! I also wired it myself and did the complete duct vent work from scratch as the apartment I moved into was newly renovated, it was my first time doing both and was a breeze!

This dryer is awful. The heat is inconsistent so one load dries just fine the next load you have to dry 3 times before it actually dries anything. The lint trap doesn™™t trap lint so you constantly have to clean out the dryer area below the tap and then disconnect the vent to clean all of that out. And yes I clean the trap every single time. Past the window to return so I am stuck with it

I'm disappointed in this dryer. It feels flimsy, the door doesn't shut unless you bend over and push it at the bottom and it frequently takes two cycles to dry everything. It's also the noisiest dryer I've owned. It doesn't match the quality of our other GE appliances.

Dyer never worked. When I reached out to Home Depot, I was told I had 48 hours to report. I didn™™t need the dryer in the first 48 hours. I™™m now waiting for a repairman a week later. Absolutely to worst experience.

This dryer has a high capacity and the basic settings. Nothing fancy, which is what I was going for. Sometimes the clothes don't get completely dry, but that has been the case with any dryer I™™ve ever owned. I recommend this product.

I bought this dryer to replace a previous GE dryer that was similar to this model. The new one makes a loud thumping sound every time the drum rotates. This happens even if the dryer is empty. I™™ll be calling my vendor tomorrow about this. Hopefully, they will resolve it at no cost to me. Update: the repair person said that the problem was a quality issue with the drum, and ordered a replacement drum.

I'm not sure if my dryer is defective but it takes three sometimes four cycles for my loads to dry on medium heat. I prefer the low setting but it never dries on the low heat setting. I clean the filter after each cycle and that still doesn't work.

Great capacity with this washer, it's able to handle large loads. The 'normal' cycle doesn't always get things dry, but moving it to another setting works great. Overall it seems like the sensor works very well. I like the features it offers and it pairs nicely with the washer we bought.

Bought both the washer a dryer as a set was installed on 01-09-2026 and as of 01-11-2026 I am having a problem with the dryer not powering on I've owed alot of GE product and never had an issue in the past so I figured the washer and dryer would be a no brainer purchase. Iv only did 2 loads of laundry in the dry and already this so as of right now I cannot give this a good review i will gladly change my review if and when dryer is fixed .

Less than 6 months old. Dryer has never dried correctly. The lint trap doesn't trap. Most of the pet hair and lint just sticks to the inside of the drum or collects around the door seal. When dryer was 1st delivered it also didn't work, because the hinges to the door were on incorrectly. They sent a service person that immediately just ordered a whole new board. Two weeks to get that and then it still didn't work. I pointed out that the door was unlevel, and that is when he noticed the hinges were broken. Two more weeks to get hinges fixed. Then the dryer worked at probably a 6 out of 10 for about a month. Extremely frustrated with this product. Has dozens of drying feature options, but it does just the same thing every cycle.
