A repair technician recommended this refrigerator. The size and capacity are perfect for my kitchen, and the interior lighting is bright! The freezer reached the right temperature (I keep thermometers in my freezer and fridge) in less than 2 hours after installation. The refrigerator reached the correct temperature in about 10 hours using setting #3, which is energy-saving, and has remained stable. So, it cooled faster than the usual quoted time of 24 hours for a new refrigerator. I believe I will be saving energy with this fridge and freezer setup. The shelving is adequate for my needs, and I am downsizing from a side-by-side that was larger than this one. Overall, I am happy with the design, configuration, and cooling of this refrigerator.

I'm a "Red, White and Blue" sort of guy and wanted nothing but a U.S.A.,Union made refrigerator. Did my research and discovered the exact fridge that now sits in my kitchen. I haven't had it long but certainly expect to. I invite everyone to buy the GE brand when looking at a "best in class" major appliance purchase.

This is a replacement fridge. The first one had intolerable vibration in the fan mounting. I placed rubber grommets under all attachment points and reduced noise by 50%, still unacceptable noise in a small cabin. Even when well stocked it seems to run quite often. I hope this one is better

Purchased this to replace a 13 year old Amana. It's a little louder than the older one but that's probably due to compressor changes to comply with govt mandates. Fridge is as described and working perfect so far. If you're looking for an above average but still inexpensive fridge for one person this is a good buy.

This is a great refrigerator and I'm so pleased with it. There is plenty of room inside and I like the black exterior finish. It matches my kitchen perfectly with the other appliances I purchased. The price, features and value are very reasonable. It's an excellent appliance and I would definitely recommend this refrigerator.

My last fridge was a GE and it lasted 23 years. Bought newunithome, loaded fridgeside with hot drinks, next morning was 30 degrees and ice tray was half full. I think this is going to be another fine GE product!

Our old refrigerator stopped working and we purchased this refrigerator to replace it as our extra refrigerator. Perfect size for our basement laundry room. It is very quiet running and has enough space and more to store all of the extra beverages and other overflow food and freezer items that do not fit in our kitchen refrigerator. We purchased a side by side refrigerator for our kitchen several years ago and have been happy with it therefore we didn't hesitate to purchase another GE refrigerator for our basement laundry room. Happy with the purchase.

We were limited as to the size of replacment we could get and am a bit disappointed by this model. I guess they don't make 'em like they used to!No light in the freezer, no split shelf for flexibility and the back of the fridge shelves are slightly angled and leave a gap at the back so the fullspace is not usable. I also dislike that the bottom cover shows a bit of the door hinge and feet, not so attractive.
