Great color and finish except handles

Love the color it coordinates beautifully with my other appliances and decor, very nice please keep this color it is timeless and elegant. The entire appliance area is easy to keep clean and nice. The handles are horrible to keep clean your hands can be clean and a smudge can be seen. I have spoken with others and they have the same issues. Can you recommend a cleaner to help make this less vulnerable to fingerprint marks?

A bit small for a family

Very poor temperature control. We are in the colder months of the year and I have to run the control on 4 out of 5 to achieve the maximum temperature control. Definitely concerned if it will be able to maintain temperature during the summer months

This is a nice well made refrigerator that keeps everything consistently cool. It™€™s made in the USA which is one of my important requirements. I bought this specifically for my garage. It works well in my cold garage in New England. Stay away from cheap foreign made garage refrigerators.

The way the icemaker is installed is in the way of the ice bin so it doesn™€™t sit flush to the side or back, so have issues with ice falling out of bin when it is near full . Otherwise no complaints so far

Slate color is only on the door, not on the sides.

We are disappointed that the side of the refrigerator is black, instead of slate. The display model in the showroom was not the slate color, and we just assumed that the sides would match the door. There are quite a few deep scratches on the clear plastic drawers.

I'm loving this Refrigerator/Freezer so far. The color is exactly what I wanted. The space inside the refrigerator is perfect for me and my family. The freezer is big too! We have a smaller home so it's exactly what we need. The temperature was not what I expected. I thought it would take a while to cool but it was so cold in 45 min!! I like the layout of the storage in the fridge and love how I can adjust the side shelves. I can't wait to see what my family thinks! It's so quiet, the old one was so loud! Thanks GE for making a beautiful, spacious and worth-while appliance :)

Wrapped in Plastic Wrap

Just received this refrigerator so I can™€™t speak to its performance or longevity. However, the doors are wrapped in a plastic wrap (think Saran Wrap) so much so that the doors, hinges, and handles all need to be removed so that the plastic can be removed properly (otherwise it rips and plastic is shown on the face of the fridge). This is very time consuming and unnecessary. This will be the last GE product I purchase.

Not happy with this refrigerator

Ordered a Slate refrigerator but received a basically black refrigerator with slate doors. Very disappointed as you see the black part of the refrigerator from both sides and you see black, would of ordered a white one if I™€™d known that. Also the refrigerator is very deep which makes it stick out 2™€ past the cabinets not including the doors, which also shows black all down the sides and sticks way out in the walkway by 4 1/2™€. You also wrap the doors in a plastic that leaves pieces sticking out everywhere that you can™€™t get off because it™€™s under hardware and gaskets. Not very happy with the purchase at all.

The doors don't line up, even after second installer tried to adjust. Freezer door sticks out quarter of an inch past lower door. When doors closed it is as if no seal is made. Shelves have limited adjustibility. Had been pleased to have matching frig and stove but wished I had found a different product.

So far, it is fantastic! It is simple - top freezer, no ice maker and nothing fancy except the great slate color! The shelves are set up for maximum capacity. There is no freezer light but solved that with a cheap subzero motion sensor freezer light for under $20 dollars.

Really like the refrigerator especially that the freezer has its adjustments in the freezer and it works great. The only think I miss from my old refrigerator is the refrigerator was bigger then this one but the freezer is bigger then the other one I had so I guess you have to figure out which one is more important. Love the color, Works as it should. This fridge unlike my fridge makes funky sounds which I am told is normal. Also the drawer in the middle of the fridge is nothing by in the way. Takes away from storage of larger containers and also from being able to see what is in back and bottom of fridge. We pulled out the drawer and made a world of difference
