Excellent little microwave oven. We got it specifically to be small, since we don't have much space on our countertop. It blends in nicely and works well. The only minus is that it doesn't heat as well as our old larger model. But we are very satisfied.

I'm very happy with this microwave. It's perfect for my counter since I have limited space in my apartment. Yet, it also cooks everything just right. I would definitely recommend it.

Wish for 2 things.
1. The door opener needs to be pushed on the opposite side, not next to the door but the exterior of the unit
2. My fault, I should have checked but I can't get a full sized paper plate in this and have it not drag

We particularly picked this microwave oven to be as small as possible, since we only have space for it on the countertop. Being white it blends in nicely with our white/grey quartz countertop. It works well, easy to use with no wasted space.

My new GE microwave fits perfectly on my kitchen counter next to my stove. As I cook on my stove and in my oven, I also heat food in the microwave. It is a perfect partner to my existing kitchen appliances.

After my long serving microwave 'expired' I thought I'd try living without this convenient appliance ~ it wasn't long before I was scrolling for a new appliance online and discovered this model. The size was perfect for my compact kitchen and I chose white as it's a countertop style. Although compact in size this microwave does everything I need with a quick push of a button. It's efficient, quick, large enough inside to hold a dinner plate and a reminder "buzz" when it's completed the task! It's very sleek, has a modern look and has all the bells and whistles anyone would need. Highly recommend this appliance.

We purchased this to replace an older model that would no longer work. We wanted a similar GE 700 watt microwave and this fit the bill. The only thing we are disappointed about is that there is no pull handle to open the door. This one has a push button. Maybe in time we will learn to love it.

The positives: Very quiet.
The negatives: push tabs are too small, are difficult to push, and not always responsive. They are arranged in awkward array. The unit locks up when a wrong sequence of buttons is pushed, It does no say locked but all push tabs are nonresponsive. Unlocking with the 3 second hold does not work consistently. It doesn't vent well.

Love the brand GE hope that this one will last as long as my other one did I used it for 27 years and it was a GE to. I bought an Hamilton Beach microwave in December 2019 and it only lasted a year and 4 months so I went for the GE again.

I don't know if we just got a lemon with this microwave, but I'm not impressed. If I enter "time cook", then enter "2.30" min (or 30sec, or 1 min...), I get a message on the display "food". If I press cancel, it goes away, but "food" keeps popping up no matter what time is entered after selecting "time cook". I have to unplug the microwave, plug it back in and then the time cook plus time will work the way it's supposed to. This glitch happens about every 3rd use of the microwave. I printed the Users Guide but it doesn't address this issue. I tried calling the Help line, but gave up after 42min on hold. I don't really use it often enough or for anything more important than pop corn or reheating something. It isn't worth the trouble to pack it all up, and try to return it and take my chances that a replacement will be any better. My $30, 10 year old off-brand microwave from Walmart was so much better.

I wanted a small microwave that worked well, and so far, this microwave fits the bill. It just barely fits things the size of a dinner plate. It probably wouldn't be a good choice for people who do lots of cooking with their microwave, but it's great for reheating and heating small quantities. I love the "Sound" button, which allows me to turn off the beeping so that I don't wake anyone up in the morning. The button for opening the door is definitely designed to be pressed with the right hand, so left-hand-dominant folks would have to get used to this.

This oven replaces an older model and so takes some getting used to - there are no directions to help and this model does not work the same. The door does not open as easily as it must be pushed at a certain point and not the center of the door. The design is attractive and I'm very happy with it for the price as well as the size.

This microwave was purchased to replace a similarly-sized GE unit we've had for nearly 20 years. Clearly several features have been improved: the carousel, the keypad & its functions. The unit remains a shelf-sized microwave at an inexpensive price-point which is capable of cooking anything, which fits its interior, almost as quickly as much larger units.

I'd order this microwave in March, and due to CV-19, it was backordered. It was the size I needed and perfectly matches my other GE appliances. I only recently was able to find a smaller area for my microwave, and it's a perfect fit. Easy to clean and a dependable carousel, unlike my previous lower-quality brand. Very happy with my purchase.

This has been a very dependable microwave. I love the features - especially the vegetable setting. We've had this microwave for several years now but unfortunately it's going to have to be replaced soon. But be assured we are getting another one - the same model because it's that good! Good features: fits a standard dinner plate; quieter than earlier GE countertop models; seats with pretty good stability against a wall, so doesn't move when opening door; push latch on door is easy enough action for aging hands. Average features: takes longer to reheat a plateful through than my previous GE; okay heating or reheating for hot beverages or soup but the times on the presets are not accurate; Poor features: interior is smaller than previous and microwave element apparently not positioned ideally. Deeper bowls heat from the bottom up, instead of edges to center, and food will seem hot, but have to go in for second heating. On a standard 37" counter height, the placement of the window would be useful only if you're under 4'5" in height. Otherwise you have to bend and get just the right distance away if you want to monitor for bubbling or boiling. Besides the window is too small, 8" x 4" with black mesh that obscures view anyway. Earlier GE 700W countertop models were taller, more window view, and well thought out for any use. This is a case of it wasn't broke, but they fixed it, as is happening all over the place these days. Change for changes sake is creating new generations that won't understand 'form follows function" or know quality from 'functionally indifferent."
