Works well, heats evenly. Hard to keep clean. Being black, it shows every little smudge. I keep glass cleaner and polish handy for cleaning it.

It did not fit. I had to cut to make it fit. Due to my lack of research, I was not aware of the product not recommending certain cooperates suck as iron skillets which is my favorite to cook with.

Do not under any circumstances by this product GE is now just a license. First they promised me a $100 Rebate if it didn't fitI. I reframed the size myself, I sent in pictures and after 9 emails, they wanted a invoice from a contractor from $100 there are no contractors I know that work for $100 I never got my refund next 14 months almost to the day a thermal cracked appeared in 2 parts of the burners. Have to research online my one year warranty expired a new glass is expensive as a new stove a terrible experience I feel violated and ripped off don't buy this cheap stove top that cracked in 15 1/2 months.

Our new cooktop won't even boil water. The store sent a warranty person to verify that it in fact doesn't heat up but now have to send the installer to determine if it's his fault or it came wired incorrectly from the factory. We're still waiting for him. He was a no-show today so now I'm supposed to wait for him again tomorrow. In the meantime,I can't cook! I am not impressed.

Love it but I used it a few times and my one burner started showing the light on as if it was hot. Had to have repair man come and install new burner. At least it was free as it is under warranty

I have used GE cooktops for a very long time (this is the third house). One burner does not work properly and today repair guys are coming to replace it. Additionally, it seems to be the lower grade cooktop that I am used to.

I like my new stovetop! I'm sad that when we tested it without using a pot or pan it has spots I cannot remove for a clean look but still happy to have a new stove top that works well.

Everything went great! Cooktop fit perfectly into existing opening thanks to help from GE customer service guiding me to the correct model. Installers were punctual, quick and cleaned up area after. Cooktop works perfectly and looks good too!

These are decent - My second, the first didn't last 7 years but was all digital, so I went with the one with knobs. I'm limited to my choices because of the granite countertop cut out and I don't have an option for gas. Let's hope this one last longer than 7 years

This replaced a similar unit purchased over 20 years ago. It is basically the same item but with some updated dials and trim. Given my good luck with the other one I declined the extended warranty as Maine, by law, requires manufactures a much long warranty than they offer. I am very pleased with the unit; it works great, has the features I need and it goes well with other appliances with stainless steel trim, etc.

I would not recommend this product. The front main burner that we use every day has already gone bad and it's not even a year old. This did not happen on our last stove top for 15 years. This causes me to lose faith in the rest of the burners, and I'd prefer a replacement, but I'm guessing they will only repair it. Also, this stove top seems to take forever to heat up, but once its hot, its really hot. We find the same thing with GE's Double Oven. They just are not making these the way they used to.

Great replacement for my 20+ year old cooktop. Love the modern design and the knobs makes it easier for seniors. GE appliances have great durability and will last for years. The Instant Boil feature improves the efficiency when making meals. GE appliance performance beats the other brands I have tried. I love the versatility of this appliance fitting in my mobile home.

This cooktop was bought to replace a GE Profile PP9030 cooktop. The glass on that one broke at the corner when a pot lid slid towards the back and seemed to hit lightly. Hopefully, this model will be sturdier as it doesn't have a beveled edge and it has protective stainless edges on the front and back. We opted for the knobs this time. We sometimes would change our burner settings unintentionally with the smooth top, plus to save a little money as the broken one was only 5 years old. We have always gotten good service from previous GE appliances.
All burners work well checking every setting increase.
