Grinder screws up. Says it™€™s out of beans when it is not. Grinder location is too close to edge of bin and beans struggle To drop in. Coffee strength is inconsistent , temperature is inaccurate. Nice aesthetic and would be nice if everything worked as advertised. The cuisinart maker with burr grinder is much better but they quit making it.

Worked great for a few months

Really loved this product when we got it but a few months ago it stopped calling for water and just sits at the end of a brew with 0:00 on the timer and never finishes. Tried the descale and it pulls the water but never finishes doing the descale process and lie h brewing just sits at 0:00. We let it sit lk that for 3hr and finally just turned it off and went an got a cheepo coffee maker from walmart

By far the best coffee maker I've ever owned, it's easy to use and gives you a lot of customization options. I LOVED this coffee maker™€¦ while it was working. I bought my first one in October and it stopped working in January/February. GE thankfully sent me a new one. It is now May and the same issue has started again. It is saying to add water when the water tank is full. For how expensive this machine is it should last more than a few months. Working with GE customer support was also a headache so not looking forward to having to do that again.

Stopped grinding beans after 5 months

I was really excited to purchase this for my husband for Christmas. It worked great for about five months. The machine has completely stopped working just spins. And before you ask, yes, I have cleaned out the machine the burr multiple times and still nothing. I™€™ve tried to get in touch with support, but that was impossible. Also, you have 60 days to return otherwise you™€™re out $400. I had my Nespresso machine for 10 years before we had any problems and it was half the price. Lesson learned.

Additionally, finding the right 800 number to speak to someone about this is next to impossible. I will no longer be able to recommend this product.

I have had two GE Cafe coffee makers over the past few years and I love them. I only buy SCA-certified coffee makers, as they are the only coffee makers that I know will brew my coffee hot enough. What sets GE makers apart is the Smart HQ app, which is the only app that allows you to brew a pot of coffee whenever you want, without the need to set a timer (don™€™t be fooled by overpriced, cheap makers, as their app is garbage)! I have very limited space in my coffee bar, and I am getting a new espresso machine which is wider than my current one. This requires me to get a slimmer coffee maker, hence the need for a new one. The profile is only 7™€ wide, so it is a great fit (it is tall, but that isn™€™t a problem for me). I love the addition of the grind and brew feature, which allows for a fresher pot than when I grind my beans the night before brewing. I believe that this maker is also a great value, and is fairly priced. Outstanding!!!

I've been hand washing, which is easy because of the large opening. It has nice features for coffee boldness and temperature plus delay brew. I really like the ability to brew a cup (single serve) and a carafe from the same machine with freshly ground beans. I look forward to doing that!

I don't see how this gets such good reviews for the taste of the coffee this machine brews. I bought this (from Amazon) so that I could stop using plastic K-cups, and liked the flexibility this machine offered for single cup and carafe brewing. I've been using this for 4 days now and the coffee it brews is TERRIBLE. Has no flavor. I used the Gold setting, Bold, Extra Bold, 200 degree temperature, you name it and the coffee has good color but it doesn't taste like coffee. I used fresh Lavazza whole beans and pre-filtered water. I changed the beans thinking that might be the problem but no. I get what looks like a reasonable amount of grounds in the single cup filter, and the right amount of coffee (I brew 10 oz cups).

Brews great coffee. Been a little learning curve because the coffee basket runs over and puts grounds in the coffee. This is happening when making a whole pot. Love the Bluetooth. Make it from bed! Only issue is that the bean container is small so you have to fill it more. Looks great in the kitchen! Makes a great cup of fresh ground coffee.

This is our second time giving this machine the chance to work appropriately. Two different machines, two months of proper working and then, THERE ARE NEVER THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF BEANS. Grinder clogging issues. Do not buy

I like the setup and the coffee this makes. Unfortunately the grinder isn™€™t able to be properly cleaned and after two months it wasn™€™t getting any grinds through. I never used dark roast, and always used the most coarse setting but even that is pretty fine™€¦ I cleaned out the grinder with the instructions in the manual after the first 25 brews and it was fine, but before I got to 50 brews it clogged up on me. It seems like part of the grind mechanism is not reachable which is a pretty big flaw. I cleaned everything out that was accessible and still get no grounds coming through.

Overall coffee maker is great and brews excellent coffee. My only complaints are with the brew basket. It swings out to open and is sometimes difficult to close it back in place and requires some adjustment with the basket to get it right. Secondly, it would be nice when brewing individual cups of coffee to be able to use small coffee filters rather than the small size gold filter that is included. Does a great job grinding the beans and very configurable with grind size and temperature.

It pops open at times when it™€™s grinding, and will also pop open while brewing. I have no idea what™€™s going wrong, as I am extremely careful to make sure the basket is placed properly and I also confirm that it clicks when it snaps shut. I™€™m at a loss to know how to resolve this enoying problem. The coffee will be brewing, and for no reason the brewing basket door flies open.

Sleek in appearance and design, but a poor vent placement reduces functionality. Water/steam spews out and settles under coffee maker/counter making cleanup necessary which lowers convenience. Do I have a lemon? Williams Sonoma said it is not returnable. Love the flexibility of brewing a single cup or a full carafe.

No idea how this thing gets such good reviews. People must have received it for free. It is junk. Every time it makes coffee steam releases from every available space possibly making the counter and cabinets soaked from steam. The drawer that holds the filter/basket that you need to push in feels like it will break at any moment. Can't wait to return and buy something else.

I've been enjoying the GE Profile Grind and Brew Coffee Maker so far! It brews delicious coffee, and the built-in grinder adds an extra level of freshness and convenience. The sleek design also looks great on my counter. That said, I do have a couple of minor complaints. Like others have mentioned, the brew basket can be tricky to close at times. However, my biggest issue™€"one I™€™m surprised isn™€™t mentioned more™€"is the lack of clearance for travel mugs. You either have to use the carafe or awkwardly force a travel mug in, making it difficult to remove. Just an extra half-inch of space would have made a big difference. Aside from that, I haven™€™t encountered any major issues, and overall, I™€™m happy with my purchase!

Just as faulty as its Predecessor

Great coffee is made, however just like its predecessor, the bean grinder is faulty and will not grind when its supposed to. the beans get stuck and will not fall into the grinder. It has to be done by hand which could possibly be a safety issue. Very disappointing.

The coffeemaker produces a very good cup of coffee. Each serving can be tailored to individual preferences by setting coarseness of grind, boldness, brewing temperature, and size of cup. Unlike many burr grinders, it doesn't scatter ground coffee on the counter. There are a few issues, however, that lowered the rating from five to four stars. The clean grinder warning is always illuminated, despite repeated cleanings. Occasionally, the grinder hits an air pocket despite an ample supply of beans. When the brew basket swings open to clean the filter, some liquid often spills onto the counter. After cleaning the filter, closing the unit often requires a bit of fiddling around. On balance, it makes good coffee with a high degree of flexibility and is therefore recommended, despite the remaining opportunities for product improvement.

I scoured the internet to find a coffee maker that would grind the beans, make a pot of coffee, or a cup without using plastic pods with the touch of a button. The Profile does all that plus has many more features that I love. But, the best part is that it makes great tasting coffee.

Bean hopper too small

I™€™ve only had it for one week but really like it a lot. Only comment is the bean hopper is too small IMO. You only get two pots of coffee max before having to refill. Suggestion would be to make a hopper accessory that sits in the space of the current hopper cover that has more capacity. Otherwise it makes a really good cup of coffee.
