I will never buy. GE microwave again. Our door handle has broken for the 3rd time in 7 years and GE has nerve to make us buy a new one. It runs about $30 bucks or more AND THEY HAVE THE GALL TO CHARGE ME SHIPPING AND HANDLING. Also the fan settings for this unit are SUPER HIGH and VERY HIGH. Good luck trying to find a charcoal filter. This unit will not fit. GE can™™t even get that right. We are looking for a replacement microwave and it will NEVER BE A GE PIECE OF TOTAL JUNK.

Wow if I had known GE would require me to spend nearly 20% of the total price of the appliance on annual required parts, I would never have bought this microwave. Shame on GE. Charging $50 for a part you have to replace annually on a $250 microwave. That™™s not including shipping. Save yourself the money and buy a different brand microwave.

I went to this page (https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/assembly/JVM6175SK6SS?ModelType=ModelType) to see what charcoal filter is needed for a JVM6175SK6SS. This page says replacement parts for JVM6175SK6SS so I poke on the charcoal filter shown on this page which takes me to (https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WB02X11124). This is not the right sized charcoal filter for JVM6175SK6SS. It is silly that I have to use Google to find the right filter because GE's own page is wrong.

Should have read the comments. My model (JVM6175SK5SS) also recommended this specific part. Too small. Cannot believe how inconvenient this has become. I will try Home Depot or someone else.

The filter I ordered did not fit even though it was the recommend filter for my microwave! Trust the reviews on this one. Terrible. You think they™™d care for their customers and change their website instead of us having to blow our money on such a waste of time.

The charcoal filter isn™™t the one under the microwave. it™™s the one when opening the door and pulling down another door above oven. Once changed, press reset and light will go out.

When it arrived, it didn't actually fit my microwave, despite it clearly being labeled as the charcoal filter for my model. I'm trying to return it to get the right one, and I've been on hold on the phone forever. Such a waste of my time. Also, this part is WAYYY to expensive.

This filter is 3-7/8" x 6-1/8". The filter in model JVM 6175 DK 5 WW is 4-3/4" x 7-11/16". I have no idea what the number is for the correct filter. The website erroneously listed WB02X11124 as the correct filter for microwave model JVM 6175 DK 5 WW.

This charcoal filter is listed under the Popular Accessories section of the JVM6175SK5SS microwave model, but it is not the proper replacement part and does not fit in the charcoal filter slot (it is much smaller than the proper filter). The WB02X35687 model is the proper charcoal filter for the JVM6175SK5SS microwave.

I am trying to buy a replacement filter for M/W model# jvm6175ekes. GE parts lists a number of models with jvm6175 ek#es (where # = models 1 - 4). My issue is that the M/W we have has a filter that measures 7.5" by 4 5/8" -- and the replacement filters for these models only measure (according to all the online info) around "6 1/8 inches (length) x 3 7/8 inches (width) by ¼ inch (depth) and will fit in many GE range hoods" I am totally confused as to whether this WB02X11124 will actually fit the microwave we purchased from Home Depot????

This part is simply the wrong one for my microwave, despite being listed on GE's website as the correct replacement part. It's the wrong size by inches. This part does not fit in the JVM6175SKSS microwave and GE should correct this immediately. I don't want a reply here, I don't want you to tell me to contact support, I want you to fix the listing on the website for the JVM6175SKSS microwave parts and accessories page to a filter that fits that microwave. This has been an extreme annoyance and it is all the fault of this listing.

I scanned the we code on the microwave to make sure I had the part # right, and I ordered that part # and it™™s not the same size. It™™s way too small. And if I can™™t get the right part # from the manufacturers site, I have no idea where to figure out what I™™m supposed to order. A little maddening™¦

I ordered the replacement filters through GE. They look exactly like the ones I took out. Original ones still appear clean, no residue, etc.
Put new filters in, did all the troubleshooting and the reset filter light won't go off. Should not have to pay for a service call for this!

I had no clue that was even a part in my microwave. When I was finally able to find the filter, after taking front panel off, the silly thing looked exactly like the new one. I saw no evidence of use in the "old" one. It was laying in an open compartment. I took the old one out and tossed the new one in the square hole and closed up the microwave. At that point the red notice on panel went off. Seriously, none of it made any sense to me. If it happens again, I'll live with the red light notification on panel.

The red reset filter light won't go away. I've turned off the power for several minutes, pulled out the unused filter and put it back in again (my microwave vents to the outside so doesn't need this filter), held down the Reset Filter light for 30 seconds, and the red light is still on. So I covered the light with a small piece of light-blocking cardboard and a piece of white duct tape. There is NO WAY I'm going to pay for a service call to fix this. When I receive Consumer Reports annual product review questionnaire, I will give this GE microwave a terrible review.

This product is highly overpriced especially when there is what seems to be identical one for $9. Also, had I not read the reviews and questions would not have realized that I don™™t even need one at all. Mine vents outside not recirculating so it™™s not even necessary.

I had a hard time finding a part number for this filter so I called the parts hotline and was connected with a friendly customer service rep. It took some time to find the part number. It is WBO2X11536. Price $9.00. It is the same as this $40 filter. GE, please make the change to your website and make it easier to find the part number online.

I don't like being forced to change the charcoal filter in my microwave and the water filter in my refrigerator every 6 months just to make the warnings go away. I have these appliances in our vacation home and they're used for a few days each month. You prices for filters and the change every 6 months add almost $200/year to the cost of my appliances. If you're going to create a reminder like that, you need to make it set on usage and not a calendar. My filters don't need changed that often but it's the only way I know of to get the warnings to go away.

There's no reason that this filter should need replacing after our less than a year of moderate cooking. But vastly more ridiculous is the price of it for nearly $40!! That's more than 10% of the total cost of the microwave new. Have you no shame!
