Quick delivery and working fridge!

My 18 year-old GE side-by-side stopped working. I checked the compressor and fan to make sure they were OK and purchased this replacement control board. oven bad engineering

this part number is for a GE oven temp control board, profile series doubleoven type, this is for the lower oven, my wife has one and this part number board has burn out three times and the last technician said the part is not available anymore, nedless to say my wife saidnever any GE appliances again. as you can see the paint on the knobs wears off also, bought in about 2009 2010

Design Flaw Fridge

I have replaced this part three times in my refrigerator WR55X10522 Display Assembly for Refrigerator - once replaced it usually last about three to four weeks- the fridge will randomly just beep for periods of time. So I never know what my fridge temperature is set for. I have had the Main Motherboard replaced three times as well including exactly one year after purchase.. Attached is the third Main board I have been through

Refrigerator is 9 years old. Freezer section is not cold enough to freeze. I tested defroster heater and thermostat, both are good. Evaporator coil has an uneven frost pattern, making me think refrigerant leak. This seems to be a major problem with this product.

GE Cafe Series Side by Side Refrigerator

I bought this beautiful Kitchen set in 2010. Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty. This refrigerator as well as most GE refrigerator models that I have had have been nothing but trouble. Barely a year old I awoke one day and the inside temperature was 94 degrees in the refer side and the freezer was leaking water everywhere from the ice compartment melting. Had to wait 3 weeks for the warranty repair but got it straight and lost all my food of course, but much to my surprise the same thing happened again months later. After many weeks of fussing and arguing with anyone that would listen I was refunded my purchase price so foolish me bought another GE too match my beautiful kitchen and wouldn't you know it, more mother board issues and more headaches on my horizon. It's simply ridiculous. Save your self the headaches and frustration avoid GE Refrigerator products
